The Almondco Quality award is awarded to the grower member who achieves the highest level of quality in each season.
The annual award was created in 2016 to acknowledges excellence at the farm gate.
This year went down to the wire with multiple growers achieving AAA Grade, the highest attainable grading outcome.
Congratulations to Louis & Steve Atsaves, Renmark South, SA, on winning the Almondco Quality Award for 2021!
After a long family history growing stone fruit, the Atsaves family made the switch to almonds in recent years and have applied their fastidious approach to the growing of almonds, as a grower member of Almondco.
Louis and Steve were presented with a plaque and a fresh carton of Scorched Almond Porter from the Woolshed Brewery.
An honour board is also engraved and displayed on site at Almondco, acknowledging all recipients of the Quality Award.
